VIII. TECHNICAL STAFF

 Shall establish new computer laboratories.
 Shall maintain the Mail Server, DNS & Proxy.
 Shall maintain the Institute Web Sites.
 Shall maintain the existing facility.
 Shall support Departments by providing consultations in
Systems / Asst. Systems configuring their system requirement.
1 Manager / Asst.  Shall assist in Purchase of Hardware and Software
Director-Systems  Shall engage in developing in-house software as per the
requirements of the various departments.
 Shall render help in conduct of computer laboratory classes for
various Schools
 Shall constantly strive to improve service to all stakeholders
 Shall provide any other expert assistance in the related field as per
the requirements/policy of the Institute.
 Shall install the computers as well as software in the institute
Schools, Sections and Laboratories.
 Shall service the computer peripherals with care and caution.
 Shall maintain the systems in the laboratories.
 Shall attend to the call duties from various Schools / teams
 Shall maintain discipline and cordial relationship with his
Hardware Technician /
2 subordinates.
Trainee
 Shall do periodic checking of anti-virus
 Shall do trouble shooting and maintenance of Hardware and
Network.
 Shall constantly strive to improve service to all stakeholders
 Shall provide any other expert assistance in the related field as per
the requirements/policy of the Institute
 Shall install the computers as well as software in the various
departments, sections and laboratories.
 Shall maintain the networking systems in the laboratories
 Shall maintain the Institute web site and mail server.
Network Engineer /
3  Shall assist staff in conducting lab sessions.
Trainee
 Shall service the computer peripherals with care and caution. Shall
constantly strive to improve service to all stakeholders
 Shall provide any other expert assistance in the related field as per
the requirements/policy of the Institute
 Shall install the computers as well as software in the institute
