Should constantly strive to improve service to all stakeholders
Providing any other expert assistance in the related field as per
the requirements/policy of the Institute.
Should manage the daily activities of the housekeeping
department
Should ensure appropriate cleaning of all offices, concourses,
seating areas, washrooms and all public spaces.
Should plan, organize and direct team members, and to ensure
the highest degree of satisfaction.
Should engage in daily supervision of the housekeeping staff,
including the day, event and post-event crews.
Should maintain records of purchase, re-order and housekeeping
supplies and inventory.
Should conduct pre-event inspections of all rooms, concourses,
clubs, seating areas and public areas prior gate opening for every
event held at the Arena.
Manager / Asst. / Asst. Should maintain the housekeeping budget, providing billing

Manager Housekeeping summaries and expenses for all pre and post events.
Should uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and
conduct.
Should possess knowledge of safety standards in the
Housekeeping department.
Should determine and maintain the department work schedule
used to notify staff of upcoming events and ensure proper
preparation and staffing for each event.
Should ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes
arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and
damaged equipment.

Should keep the students name lists updated while taking the
students attendance daily in the hostel.
Should maintain the files / records / Attendance register of the
students
To provide congenial atmosphere in the Hostel Blocks and
maintain discipline in the Block.
Should have ready access to proctor, parent and guardian details
of all students so as to update them on any emergency.
Should ensure regular availability of counsellors and also to
manage emergencies.
Chief Warden / Director / Should monitor the payment details.
Dy. Director / Resident The rapport maintained has to be to the level that the warden
14 Warden / Superintendent knows all the students by name, their room number and their
/ Manager / Block details.
Should conduct once in a month, a meeting of the Floor
Supervisor – Ladies Representatives of the Block and check if everything is ok. If not,
Hostels / Mens Hostels he/ she should initiate necessary actions for the problems
identified. The Chief Warden should be given a copy of the
minutes of the meeting.
Should go for rounds / surprise check to different rooms at night
(between 10.00 and 11.00 p.m.) and ensure good conduct. (At
least twice in a week).
If any undisciplined action by the student is noticed, it should be
immediately informed to the Chief Warden. Together, the
Warden and the Chief Warden should decide on the course of
action. This should be intimated to the concerned authorities
immediately.
